Mayor Aki-Sawyerr Raises Fresh Concerns Over Proposed Division of Freetown

Freetown Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr has raised fresh concerns about the government’s proposal to restructure Freetown into three cities, three local councils and three mayors.

She questioned the timing of the consultation, arguing that citizens were being consulted only after key decisions had reportedly already been made.
