East End Lions Unveils New Artificial Turf Pitch Ahead of 202627 Season

East End Lions Football Club has completed a brand-new artificial-turf pitch at the Trade Centre in Freetown. Built under the leadership of Executive Chairman Ambassador Anthony Junior Navo, the modern facility will serve as the team’s home ground for the upcoming 2026/2027 season, which kicks off on October 10.

The new pitch is a major upgrade to the club’s infrastructure, giving players a top-class environment to train and compete at the highest level. It fulfills a long-held dream for supporters, who have warmly welcomed the chance to finally have a dedicated home ground.

Known as the “Killers,” the team aims to strengthen its performance as the new campaign begins. The project also highlights how private investment is helping to rebuild and modernize local football facilities across Sierra Leone.
