Sierra Leone to Host 2026 African Public Procurement Conference in Lungi

Sierra Leone will host the 2026 African Public Procurement Network Conference in Lungi.

The National Public Procurement Authority says the event will run from November 24 to 27 at the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre.

It is expected to bring together government officials, procurement regulators, private sector representatives, civil society groups, academics and development partners from across the continent.

Discussions will focus on transparency, accountability and efficiency, with digital tools, including electronic government procurement systems, a key area.

Other topics include procurement reforms, innovation, professional training, open contracting, sustainable procurement and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
