Two Men Sent to Prison Over $10,700 Vehicle Scam in Freetown

Two men accused of defrauding a Freetown resident of $10,700 in a fake vehicle sale have been remanded by Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court.

Mohamed Musa and Yankuba Koroma face charges of conspiracy to defraud and obtaining money by false pretences, accused of falsely claiming they had a vehicle for sale in Conakry between March and April this year.

Neither entered a plea, as the case proceeds by committal.
