SLPP Warns of Rising Impersonation Scams Targeting National Chairman Batilo Songa

Sierra Leone’s ruling party, the SLPP, has issued a public warning after fraudsters attempted to scam citizens by posing as its National Chairman, Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa. Unknown individuals have been making calls and sending messages to ask for money and favors in his name.

The party made it clear that Chairman Songa is not involved in these activities and urged the public to be cautious. Citizens are being advised not to send money, share personal details, or respond to suspicious requests coming from unverified phone numbers or messaging apps.
