President Maada Bio Receives ICPNC Annual Report, Praises Commission’s Peacebuilding Efforts

President Julius Maada Bio has received the 2025 Annual Report and the 2025-2026 Strategic Plan from the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion.
The documents were presented to the President by the Commission’s leadership and staff during a meeting in Freetown.
President Bio praised the Commission for its efforts in promoting peace and national unity across Sierra Leone.
He said the Commission has helped strengthen peace and create a strong foundation for national development.
The President also encouraged the Commission to continue carrying out its important work.
The presentation reflects continued cooperation between the Presidency and the Commission in promoting peace and reconciliation nationwide.
