President Bio Sacks Mohamed Fuaad Daboh as NASSIT DG, Appoints Replacement

President Julius Maada Bio has dismissed Mohamed Fuaad Daboh from his position as Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), replacing him with Chernor Mamoud Jalloh in a major leadership shake-up at the state-run social security institution.

The decision was announced in a public notice issued by the Office of the President at State House on 21 July 2026 as part of a broader set of presidential appointments and reassignments.

In addition to appointing Jalloh as the new Director General, President Bio named Ms Jenneh Jabati as Chairperson of the NASSIT Board of Trustees. Former Minister of Youth Affairs, Mr Mohamed Bangura, was also appointed Deputy Director General for Administration and Finance.
