Premier League Board Announces Unity Cup, Confirms 202627 Season Kick Off Date

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has announced that the new 2026/27 football season will officially kick off on October 10. Before the main league begins, fans can enjoy a special pre-season match called the Unity Cup on Sunday, October 4.

The Unity Cup will take place at the Southern Arena in Bo with completely free entry for all spectators. It features a clash between league champions Bo Rangers and FA Cup winners East End Lions.
Organisers say the match is a great way to bring fans together and start the season on a high note. They are urging players, clubs, and supporters to work together for a fair and successful year of local football.
