Police Steps Up Security Drive in Kailahun With Five New Motorbikes

The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has intensified its community policing drive in Kailahun District, donating five  motorbikes to the Local Policing Partnership Board (LPPB), thereby improving police visibility, strengthening community engagement and enhancing rapid response to  security concerns.

The motorbikes were formally handed over on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, at the Kailahun Court during a ceremony attended by senior police officers, community leaders, local authorities and residents.
