MPs Push for Urgent Government Support for Kent Harbour Project

Members of Parliament have called on the government to support the proposed Kent Harbour and Port Project.
The lawmakers say a second port is needed to reduce congestion at the existing quay and improve the movement of goods.

Finance Committee Chairman Kekura Vandi urged Parliamentarians to visit Kent and assess the progress of the project.

APC Chief Whip Abdul Karim Kamara also backed the project, saying the current congestion is affecting businesses involved in imports and exports.
