Mariyam Lorba Konneh Appeals for National Support Ahead of Miss World 2026

Sierra Leone’s Miss World 2026 representative, Mariyam Lorba Konneh, has called on Sierra Leoneans to support her as she prepares for the international competition.
In a social media message, Konneh said she is not only representing herself but also carrying the pride and hopes of Sierra Leone.
She said this year’s competition will include contestants from countries with strong pageant traditions, making the contest very competitive.
The former AYV Miss University titleholder appealed to citizens, businesses, institutions, and other partners to stand behind her journey.
Konneh believes strong national support will give her greater confidence as she competes on the world stage.
She said she is committed to proudly representing Sierra Leone and making the country proud at Miss World 2026.
