China Aid Project Expands Classroom Furniture Support Across Sierra Leone

Schools and higher education institutions across Sierra Leone are receiving classroom furniture through a China-funded education project.
The project, implemented by UNDP with Sierra Leonean education authorities, is aimed at improving public educational facilities for young people.

Plans under the project include providing 10,000 sets of tables and chairs to schools in underserved communities.

The support has already reached institutions including a university in Kenema and a primary school in Bo.
