Businessman Remanded Over Alleged Le100,380 Fraud, Forgery
A 44-year-old businessman, Mohamed Sankoh, has been remanded after his first court appearance on fraud and forgery charges at Pademba Road Court.
He’s accused of fraudulently converting Le100,380 entrusted to him for cleaning a container at Queen Elizabeth II Quay, and of forging an NRA assessment notice to deceive the complainant.
He did not enter a plea, and Magistrate Fornah ordered him remanded at the Male Correctional Centre, with the matter adjourned to next week.
