APC Acting Chairman Urges APCians to Embrace Peace, Rebuild Unity in New Year Message

The All People’s Congress (APC) has called on its members and supporters to embrace peace, reconciliation and unity as the party enters the New Year, amid ongoing internal consultations ahead of key political activities.

In a New Year message issued on January 1, 2026, the Acting National Chairman of the APC, Amb. Alhaji Dr. Osman Foday Yansaneh, extended greetings to party members and supporters across the country, describing the New Year as a time for reflection, understanding and renewed commitment to the APC family.

“This is a season to reflect, to understand one another better, and to renew our shared commitments as one APC family,” Yansaneh said in the statement released from the party’s headquarters.

Acknowledging past disagreements within the party, the Acting Chairman urged members to forgive one another and place the interest of the APC above personal differences, particularly as the party moves toward its forthcoming conventions.
