⁠ ⁠Police Launch Nationwide Crackdown on Unauthorised Vehicle Lights

The Sierra Leone Police have launched a nationwide operation targeting the use of unauthorised and excessively bright lights on vehicles.

Director of Traffic, Commissioner Abdul Moijueh, said the operation is aimed at curbing the growing use of coloured LED lights, flashing lights, excessively bright headlamps and other decorative lighting fitted to vehicles.

According to the Commissioner, such lights can distract or temporarily blind pedestrians and other road users, increasing the risk of road traffic accidents.
