Leonard Koroma Says He Has No Regrets Over 50 Red Bus Project

Sierra Leone’s former Transport Minister, Leonard Koroma, says he has no regrets over his handling of a controversial government bus scheme. Speaking to Truth Media, Mr Koroma defended the project, which delivered fifty red buses instead of the planned one hundred under the previous administration.
The project was originally launched to improve public transport, tackle overcrowding, and make daily travel easier for commuters across the country. Despite public criticism over the shortfall in numbers, the former minister insisted the initiative was properly managed and delivered with the best intentions.
