Unqualified Doctor Arrested Over Alleged Death of Woman After Injection in Tongo

A woman has reportedly died in Tongo after receiving an injection allegedly administered by a man who police say was not authorised to provide medical treatment.

Fatmata M. Ngevao reportedly died on Monday, August 10, 2026, shortly after Musa Ngevao administered an injection to her at the Marlin.

The incident was brought to the attention of police by the victim’s husband, Ibrahim Ngevao, who reported that his wife had received the injection before her sudden death.
