No APC MP Received Vehicle, Money to Support Constitutional Bill – Abdul Kargbo Denies Claims.

APC Parliamentary Leader Abdul Kargbo has denied allegations that APC Members of Parliament were given vehicles or money to support the proposed constitutional amendment bill.

Speaking on August 15, Kargbo challenged anyone making the allegations to provide evidence. He also denied personally receiving any vehicle, explaining that he bought his own vehicle in January, months before the constitutional amendment discussions.

Kargbo further maintained that APC MPs have not compromised their positions and remain committed to representing the interests of the people. He also said he had never personally met President Julius Maada Bio to discuss the constitutional amendment before it was presented to Parliament.

Kargbo has rejected claims that APC MPs were financially or materially induced to support the constitutional amendment process.
