Sierra Leone Descent Ismeal Kabia Joins Scottish Club on Season Long Loan from Arsenal

Arsenal winger Ismael Kabia has joined Scottish Premiership side St Mirren on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old Dutch-born player, who is of Sierra Leonean descent, completes the move to gain further first-team experience subject to regulatory approval.
Kabia came through Arsenal’s youth academy after joining in 2017 and signed his first professional contract in 2024. He made his senior debut for the Gunners later that season, coming on during a 5-1 Carabao Cup victory against Bolton Wanderers.

After signing a new contract last year, Kabia spent a successful loan spell at Shrewsbury Town, where he made 43 appearances. Arsenal have wished the young winger well as he begins this next chapter of his development in Scotland.
