NDMA Supports Storm Affected Soldiers With Roofing Materials at Teko Barracks in Makeni 1

The National Disaster Management Agency has handed over 90 bundles of roofing sheets and nails to soldiers at Teko Barracks in Makeni, after a windstorm tore roofs off military quarters, displacing 181 people across 36 households.

NDMA’s Kai Banya called it a message of solidarity from government, while Lieutenant Colonel Tamba Senesie thanked the agency for acting swiftly, despite the strain of responding to disasters nationwide.
