Next Election Will Be Held in Either 2028 or 2030 – SLPP PRO Moses Mambu

SLPP National Public Relations Officer Moses Mambu has mentioned both 2028 and 2030 while speaking about the party’s next presidential election.
Mambu said presidential aspirants would compete at the party’s delegates’ conference, with the eventual winner expected to receive the support of the other candidates.

His mention of 2030 has attracted attention because Sierra Leone’s next general elections are currently scheduled for 2028.

Mambu did not directly say that the government plans to extend President Julius Maada Bio’s tenure to 2030.
