Juma Bah Set to Complete Loan Move to Bundesliga Club
Sierra Leone defender Juma Bah is reportedly set to join German Bundesliga club Augsburg on loan from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old centre-back was recalled by City after his loan spell at French club Nice but was not included in the club’s pre-season squad.
Bah is instead expected to continue his development through another loan move, with Augsburg reportedly considering an option to sign him permanently.
The Freetown-born defender began his football career in Sierra Leone before moving to Spain, where he joined Real Valladolid and established himself as a promising young centre-back.
He later attracted the attention of Manchester City and gained further experience through loan spells, including time with French clubs Lens and Nice.
A move to Augsburg would give Bah the opportunity to play regular top-flight football in Germany. The proposed permanent transfer option is reportedly worth around 20 million euros, although the clause is not expected to be compulsory.
