Government Moves to Digitize Primary Healthcare Management in Sierra Leone

The Ministry of Health, through its Directorate of Primary Health Care, is working with the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation to digitize the management of primary healthcare in Sierra Leone.

The two directorates want to replace manual paperwork with digital systems that can provide faster and more reliable health information.

The planned system will digitize key tools, including primary healthcare reports, district monthly reporting templates, and performance contracts for district health management teams.
