High Court Remands Businessman for Alleged Cannabis Possession in Kono

Businessman Ibrahim Kamara has been remanded to the Male Correctional Facility after pleading not guilty to drug possession before High Court Justice Adrian Fisher.

He’s accused of possessing 103 wraps of cannabis, weighing about 80 grams, at Koidu Holdings Limited in October last year; lab analysis reportedly confirmed the substance contained THC.

Justice Fisher declined bail given the seriousness of the alleged offence, and the case was adjourned to mid-October for further proceedings.
