EBKUST Public Health Students Assess Waste Management at Bombali Dumpsite

Final-year university students from Ernest Bai Koroma University have carried out an environmental check at a dumpsite in Masongbo, Bombali District. The exercise was part of their six-week internship with the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation.
During the visit, the Public Health students identified major challenges with how waste is handled. They warned that poor disposal practices at the site could spread diseases and pose serious health risks to nearby communities.
