‘University Peers Influenced Me to Use Kush’ – Former Drug User Recalls Addiction

A former university student has spoken out about how peer pressure at college led him into a severe addiction to the dangerous drug Kush. Gibril Bossco Jalloh had never used drugs before attending UNIMTECH, but pressure from classmates changed his path, eventually costing him his relationship with his family.

As his addiction grew, Jalloh developed a high tolerance, needing more of the drug just to feel its effects. The struggle isolated him from those around him and left him facing rejection from his loved ones during his darkest moments.

Now in recovery, Jalloh is using his story to urge young people to stay away from Kush. He insists that overcoming addiction is entirely possible, reminding anyone currently struggling that strong determination can lead to a fresh start.
