Government Launches New Fund and Partnerships to Support Sierra Leonean Startups

The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation has announced a major new public-private partnership aimed at unlocking capital and support for Sierra Leonean startups.
The Ministry signed a Framework Agreement with the Redsalt Angel Investment Network (RAIN) to co-fund and support early-stage technology and innovation ventures. The partnership, launched alongside the official kick-off of RAIN, is designed to increase available capital, improve startup governance, and help scalable local companies grow.
