Chinese Embassy Supports Sierra Leone Police With Food Items for Festive Season

The Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone has donated food items to the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) as part of efforts to boost officer morale ahead of the festive season.
The donation, which includes 250 bags of 25kg rice, 20 bags of 50kg sugar, and 40 gallons of cooking oil, was presented to the police on Friday, 19th December, 2025.
Speaking during the presentation, Zhang Dianbin, the Chargé d’Affaires at the Chinese Embassy, emphasized that the donation reflects the strong and longstanding relationship between China and Sierra Leone. He noted that the food items were intended to motivate police personnel as they work to maintain public safety during the busy end-of-year period.
