SLPP Spokesperson Reveals Reason for President Bio’s Frequent Travels Abroad

The National Public Relations Officer of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Mr. Moses Mambu, has explained that President Julius Maada Bio’s international travels are largely driven by interest from major investors who prefer direct engagement with the Head of State.

“In an interview with AYV, Mambu stated that the President’s presence at high-level international meetings and forums is intentional, as global investors increasingly seek dialogue with President Bio rather than working through intermediaries He emphasized that such engagements are crucial for building confidence, trust, and long-term partnerships that can translate into tangible investments for Sierra Leone.

“The President is traveling because big investors want to deal with him directly, not through representatives,” Mr. Mambu stated, highlighting the importance of face-to-face interactions in securing major commitments.
